2004.
in the beginning of the yr. i was inactive in band. although i was in band, i was in badminton too. then i din go for the audition for intruments. then on one saturday, i went to sch. with clarissa to audition. little did i knoe, it was senior band practice! and everyone was there. so paiseh!. then audition, then i got into perc. then yeah. gave my contact number and everything.

the first practice i went to was. strokings. yeah. i remembered paradiddles. then we were all sitting in a circle. 'cept for this guy, who was brandon i think. frm 1a? or b? sth liddat. then he was isolating himself. then i go talk to him loh. then he din answer. then benjamin talk to him he answer. haas.

then as time goes by, i began to be more involved in band. and i quited badminton. our practices were using essential elements. then it was around march there, we started playing. when the saints go marching in!. totally rocks. hahas. then plus lightly roll and etc. then thats the first time, junior band performed! 'my first concert.'

i dun rmb, but was it before the first concert or after, we performed a lunchtime performance. that was when all of us, daddie. jiemin. hongwen. tommy. eugene. shimei. ting. wen. benjamin. actually for the first time, got together as a section. we practiced hard in the ava room! i rmb. daddie was playing the smallest tom of the marching quad toms. jiemin floor tom. either hongwen or tommy snare. the rest was auxilary if im not wrong. but had tons of fun!

whees. then, our section was more united. received parts for perc ensemble. as usual. we were hardworking. we worked and worked. we did our best! band camp. mini concert. silver jubilee performance! tico tico, who let the dogs out, george of the jungle. mission impossible. worked hard okay!.

then came junior band fest. lets see if i can memorise the parts we played. for the sec 1s.

then. on the 30th of november. our hard work paid off. for everything. esp. marching dreams! =) we rocked our end-of-yr-concert. but i still cant get over the fact that, they removed first love! haiyahs! first love was soooo nice lohs!

2005.
we performed to the sec1s. marching dreams. sesame street. and.. cant take my eyes off you. i became a trainer. and, gone through alot when teaching them. its so irritating when they dun listen. now i understand daddie.

speaking of not listening. there was one point of time, perc was falling apart. we were not as close. and we were minding our own business. bahhs. that was crap!. aft having a section talk, i guess we prolly have changed. that was 10 days before syf.

syf. we've got gold. =)

had steamboat at marina bay for celebration.

obviously in this whole perc life, i have been thru many problems. and daddie was here for me, talking to me daolis. and of cos the other percussionists have oso been with me.
